Struck in 2018, commemorating the Liberty Dollar's 20th anniversary. The 2018 'Liberty Crypto-Dollar' was the first in this series of 'Bitcoin Specie' — a private issue, completely voluntary, alternative form of settlement, intended to expand awareness of alternative currency economics.

'Lady Liberty' on the obverse of the 'Liberty Crypto-Dollar' is an officially licensed image of Bernard von NotHaus, reduced directly from a 2001 'Liberty Dollar' plaster master — sculpted by world-renowned sculptor Luigi Badia, and minted by William J. LaMere Jr. at North American Mint, Inc.
